Larsen has a long history of collaborating with the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The firm has been instrumental in projects such as the original creation and renovation of the Roaring Lion Café, the design of the Zoo Education Building, the exterior enclosure for the Lowland Gorilla Exhibit, and the winter home for the zoo's flamingo population. Additionally, Larsen has contributed to re-theming projects for the entrance plaza and gift shop renovations and expansions.
